We have migrated reports and universes from xi2 to 4. The universes have not been converted. When we make a change to a report, the saved context is lost. How do we save the preferred context without having to run the report manually to completion? In xi2, we could run the report, select the context and then cancel the run. These are long running reports.

But what I understand is, the "measurement reading" is not necessarily a consumable. This might be say the number of trips, operating hours of an equipment etc.
In that case, what I suggest is, you can use a user exit IMRC0001 to trigger any event/follow on actions.

Thee problem with user existence was eliminated by maintaining CUA settings in SPRO. After that I got a user with a role. However, when I deleted the user and test the procedure again, the role was not assigned. In the audit log I see:
Auto provisioning activity at end of request at Path CHANGE_PATH and Stage ZROLE_APPROVE
Z_ROLE_4_GRC Role is already assigned to 101DIT0037 in system SSDCLNT200
Approval path processing is finished, end of path reached
Request is closed
But the user doesn't have the role:
Does anyone have an idea where the problem is?

Not sure if this is a help, but I recommend looking to see if there is an ole control that is already built to talk to the specific printer. Then you can talk to the ole control from pb.
I use Nicelabel.. They have cognitive drivers, but I didn't see the A776... maybe their other drivers are compatible, you can ask them. Their company is really good to work with. I have now moved off ole and onto the serverside Automation server which is even better than OLE. This has saved me months of work.
