I see that you are using the workflow template (WS9...) in the task field. You should have the task ID there. Tasks are the ones that start with prefix TS (not WS). You need to find the correct task(s) (if someone cannot give it for you by looking the workflow template in SWDD.

Another thing, when you test the report, please create new test cases (=start new workflows) before. I can see that you have selected the "New work items only", and this means that only the new work items that have been created since the last program execution are taking into account. You probably have been executing the report already hundred times without creating new test cases, so that can also be a reason why you don't see any emails.

And last but not least, you should consider the extended notifications. But even if you choose that path, you need to understand the above concepts (task ID, new work items) because you will encounter them with extended notifications also.

Hi Friends,

We are using SAP BW3.5 and on one or two locations only one report is not running rest all reports are running .

Inputs

1. The same report is running on our side in our PC with user's login.

2. SAP GUI 7.3 - Patch level 10 is installed with MS Office 2007 ( Macros settings done)

3. We tried our login and still only that single report is not working

4. SAP Basis help is minimal in this case

5. Roles assigned are similar to other location users.

Kindly suggest your views , at first it seems to be network issue but howcome all other reports are working then that.one only.

Hi Parag,

Here's what you need to do:

1) Create a formula (@Column1) with this code:

If {EDLCode} IN [501,502,503] Then {Amount}

2) Go to Insert Summary > choose the formula field from the list as the Field to Summarize > Choose 'Sum' as the summary operation > Under Summary Location choose the correct Group and click OK

3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other two columns however, make sure you change the EDL codes for each formula.

You can also do this via the Running Total Option however you won't be able to place the sum on the Group Header, it works only on the Group Footer.

Hello Hemanth,

I got below reply from SAP on OSS message that I posted: -

"portal language cannot be sent through JCo connection in ARFC2 anymore.

You have to use the ABAP language setting for the SSO user."

I cannot set any fixed language for SSO user in ABAP profile as it would not serve the purpose.

I need below scenario to work: -

1. Portal language is FR.

2. MODELDATA RFC destination is Current User (Assertion Ticket) and

Logon language field is blank.

3. In SAP R/3, SU01, logon language for this user profile is 'DE' or blank or any other lang..

In above scenario, when RFC is called from Web Dynpro application, the lang that gets passed to R/3 is FR.

Is there any sort of API which I can used in my Web Dynpro Component Controller to 'set' the language in RFC destination?

I have some problem..

I made accrual object before defining accrual documents number range for new year.

( define number range T-code : ACEPS_AWREF, create accrual object T-code : acactree01 )

Threrefore error occurs when simulate manual accrual object..

And opening FI document was not posted.

How can I repost opening document??

Thank you for your response. I might add here few of the points that lead to this error.

I have created a HANA Application project in my HANA studio and I am running this code using XS. This gives negative cache error

But when I run the same code from my eclipse environment using local cost, it works perfectly.

So will this issue be related to some HANA environment specific?? I am really not sure, It would be really great if you could help us. Because the application was working perfectly this is something suddenly happening after our SP09 HANA upgrade.

Hinnerk, I also find that performance of ST_IntersectsFilter is slow for me. I wonder why. Here's my code

v_cutter := 'Polygon .......';

I also tried to swap the shape field and the cutter, i.e.:

where new st_polygon(:v_cutter, 1000004326).st_intersectsfilter("SHAPE") = 1;

Both times I had to cancel the operation after waiting for 10 min. What do I do wrong?

[EDIT] OK, I discovered that if I remove the .st_buffer(100, 'meter') thing, my script finishes in approx 2 minutes, which is kinda too slow, but already sooner than eternity I guess the reason is that st_buffer may add too many vertices to my v_cutter, and st_intersectsfilter got totally clogged.

This brings another feature missing in HANA (I remember having that feature in ESRI Arc/INFO ) -- ability to recalculate a line/polygon to a roughened shape, with reduced number of vertices. So, for me it would be something like :v_cutter.st_buffer(1000, 'meter').st_roughen(50), where the latter function would reduce the number of vertices in v_cutter by 50%. Makes sense?

Is there any index for st_geometry data? E.g. approximating st_geometry by rectangles and pre-fetching intersect-candidates by centroids etc? In fact, this is the next thing I'm gonna try to work around the issue here: create another table with the list of centroids for polygons from T_PIECES and do some rough prefetch of those (I'll have to buffer the v_cutter a bit, using my obvervations on average polygon size&shape in T_PIECES), then fine fetch using st_intersectsfilter.
