You are absolutely right. We'd like to explore DRF instead of using ALE.
Our indicator is the material type. Certain material types will be only SAP and others would be for both systems.
Unfortunately, we couldn't find good documentation on DRF.

Not found any errors, this is not for all cases this is happening for particular user ID only,
some times it is happening for sales orders too.

HTML tags Webi
Hie Guys,
I have created a Webi report from a derived table in the Universe. The Universe is based on a MySQL database. One of the long text object from the Universe is throwing HTML tags in the Webi Report. I was wondering if there is a way to avoid those HTML tags from the back end? I have tried removing them at the report level using the following options, but it is not working for me.
1) Read Content as HTML - Wrap text option did not work for that column plus HTML tags are removed only in HTML Viewer.
2) Read Content as Hyperlink - Inserted 2 blank lines before the beginning of the text in each cell for the column.
3) Replace function - There are too many HTML tags in the column.
It seems to me that Business Objects has not been able to resolve this issue. I am using BO 4.1. Could anyone please help resolve this issue? Thanks.

Hi,
If you have a mock run on you QA system just before the production then even full backup of your Production can work as fall back solution.
If you need system readily available then the only option is to create a DR and keep it down before you start the actual upgrade on Primary so that your Standby can be activated if any issue during the upgrade.

Error reading the data of Infoprovider!!!
Hi Folks,
Need your assistance in fixing one of the issue which is freaking us from yesterday.
Let me give some background about the error there is one scheduled chain in BW here there is one custom program which reads PA data from cube and apply some logic updates to further data targets. It’s running fine till yesterday all of sudden program step getting failed with below error from today.(attached the error screenshot)
since this cube part of BWA index program is trying to retrieve data from the same here its unable to do so and triggering the error in the screenshot.
as workaround we deactivated the BWA and ran the program its running fine but again when we activate the BWA indexes and run the program it throwing same error.
FYI when we checked version of the concern program their showings yesterday date with some TR. but there is no changes happened to this program its showing just because it’s part of yesterdays transport request.
we are suspecting any issue with BWA server as such, as this error pertaining to BWA index i am posting my query here if its not the right forum please guide where i can route this.

Annual salary
Annual salary from an employee's basic pay.
Use
The amount in this field appears in the Basic Pay (0008) infotype in different ways:
Screens 2010, 2013, and 2043:
The system calculates the annual salary from the period salaries and vice versa depending on the field in which you enter or change an amount. The calculation is based on the settings you have made in the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Personnel Administration, process step Define Annual Salary. In the standard system, this is valid in USA, Canada, and Australia, for example.
All other screens:
The field is simply an input field that you can use for comparative purposes. The system does not calculate the annual salary from the period salaries or vice versa.
Dependencies
In the standard system, this field is not taken into account in Payroll .

Hello.
I haven't heard about this kind of limit, but maybe SAP people know some secret parameters.
However I know that MaxCallsInQueue is a custom parameter for custom IVR, so this isn't a setting you are looking for. This parameter is used in BCM Conditional IVR sample.
If there isn't this kind of setting, my best guess would be query current contact number with python from Monitoring database TAMCurrentContactList table and create max calls check to the beginning of the IVR. Probably there are better ways in SQL than doing SELECT every time, but idea is the same.
