Yes, I was usuing a local member to calculate subtotal.

And I understand you don't like the idea of the EPMRETRIEVEDATAs because I don't like it either. Alas, the client insists upon a certain design.

Your formula works well if the EVGET remains fixed a certain # of row(s) after the block of dim members. That seems to be the best workaround we can find here.
