Sounds right then again ... there's nothing magical about the installsecurity script, ie, it's an ascii/SQL script file that you can easily view/read to see what it's doing.

Thats the reason why you need to post the adjustment both on asset and recon accounts. You need to post seperate adjustments on asset level and on GL accounts (recon) level. As long as there is no variance between asset recon accounts and asset you will be fine during year end close.

R/3 DBCON to EXTERNAL DB2 DATABASE
Hello,
Our BASIS team is attempting to connect to an external DB2 database using table DBCON in R/3 but we are getting below error when testing the connection.
Could not open connection <connection name? .
sql error 99,999- occured:
[IBM][CLI Driver] CLI0199E Invalid connection string attribute. SQLSTATE=08001
This the connection information we are using in DBCON
DB6_DB_NAME=<database name>;DB6_DB_SVCENAME=<port number>;DB6_DB_HOST=<server host name>
Are we missing any other parameter?

this error means : The value in oCompany.Server is not correct - the server can not be found / is not accessible.
Did you by any chance also update/change SQL Server ? I guess the exact same code worked before the upgrade ?

In addition to Joachine, you need to change setting for ORD_CLOSE, seems like as of now order is getting closed after goods movement.
Then maintain proper status for action BILLING_CREATE (when it should allow to create billing for order)
Also, please check setting for BILLING_CREATE event, what you maintained under Buttons
To Display button Screen - Dynamic Button on Screen
If you changed setting, then let us know f you seeing billing create button / event or not

Yes, I was usuing a local member to calculate subtotal.
And I understand you don't like the idea of the EPMRETRIEVEDATAs because I don't like it either. Alas, the client insists upon a certain design.
Your formula works well if the EVGET remains fixed a certain # of row(s) after the block of dim members. That seems to be the best workaround we can find here.

The 1.5.0_28 that is shown in your trace above refers to the JRE version of your PI system.
JDK and JRE are different (you can search on the web on what is the difference) and so are the versions.
The highest version of JDK 1.5 released by Sun/Oracle is 22, AFAIK, you won't be able to find a version 28 anywhere.
You should be able to use that version in your NWDS to develop for PI7.11.
