How to post an interest accrual with WHT and consider its effect in the next interest posting?
Hi,
We are using the treasury module for borrowings from Banks & FIs. At the year end, i.e., 31st March, we would like to post an accrual posting with WHT (withholding tax) as per statutory norms. The accrual posting is reset on the next day itself, i.e., 1st April. However, whenever the interest actual posting based on the due date happens, SAP deducts WHT on the full value of the interest posting, instead of the differential value. This results on an excess WHT to the extent of the WHT on the accrual value.
Request you to help me with some solution for the same.

Installation of Solution Manager
I'm trying to install Solution Manager but was prompted the Windows Installer windows. When I click OK, it will end the installation.
Then the message box:
"An error occurred while processing option SAP Solution Manager 7.1 Support Release 1 > SAP Systems > IBM DB2 for linux, UNIX, and Windows > Central System > Central System (Last error reported by the step: Aborting the installation). You can now:
- Choose Retry to repeat the current step.
- Choose Log Files to get more information about the error.
- Stop the option and continue with it later
Log files are are written to C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/SOLMAN71/SYSTEM/DB6/CENTRAL/AS.

Please Use S_ALR_87013542 - here actuals should be ZERO value for all Projects Cost elements for that particular WBS element -
and should be zero Commitment value also
then we will fix that WBS element fully settled
but we do not have any report for this , we need to develop with ABAPer Zreport

please understand one thing , there are many training center who will promise you for the same, but their contents are not so much good, so once you must approach to any IBM center, ask them about what you needs, and then you may revert me with what information you get from there.
So, i will not recommend for any road sided training institute for SAP.

Hi Arabind,
If you want to compare the standard BOM with respective to issue of materials on order then use FM CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 which will explode the BOM and display all the BOM Components. Whenever user is trying to do GR for the order get the reservations created from RESB table for the order and compare the same with standard BOM items from FM output. In RESB you need to fetch the MATNR, Requirement qty (BDMNG) and withdrawan qty (ENMNG). If requirement qty is equal to withdrwan qty then issue is completed. You need to compare the RESB-MATNR with IDNRK from FM.
Personally i feel not good to put so much restriction in BOM changes and Order changes practically this changes are found in shopfloor. Instead you can avoid change authorization to user to avoid user changing the BOM Components as per his wish list and have authorization for change order at next level and do comparison with respective to order reservations only at RESB table data.

No, there is currently no option available to limit resource usage on connection/user level.
However, even if it was, this wouldn't improve or fix bad model design.
The data type conversion in the example above is done twice (? to be really sure?) as CAST () plus as TO_DATE().
Also it happens outside the analytic view, again, why?
Not sure what happens *inside* the analytic view, but I got a feeling that
"_SYS_BIC"."fi-gl-lineitems/AN_BKPF_BSEG"."HKONT_SUBSTR
requires to perform a SUBSTR operation on each and every one of the 1.3B line items.
If that's the case, long runtimes are to be expected.
Finally, and I might be wrong on that, the GROUPING done here is likely to produce a group for rather few original records. This translates into a vast result set with lots of groups.
And the question here clearly is: what is the use case for delivering thousands of grouped records back?

error in clearing duplicate values of custom attribute

IDM 7.1 SP7
DB: Oracle 3.0.04
I have one custom attribute "Z_REQUESTTYPE" having same value assigned twice for many users (MX_PERSON) .

Removing this attribute (attribute is set as multi-value attribute) for the affected user using uIS_SetValue(mskey, 2 , "Z_REQUESTTYPE", "") or {R} operator using below statement does not work.

I think it would work using DELETE sql query but how to do it using IDM without using DELETE sql query.
Instead, I get below error on execution of above statement.

In the similar kind of request, we have Integrated all the records in one file ( by writing a simple windows batch program, which collects all the records from all the files and keep them in a new single file) and then loading the same file to the required Data targets.
Secondly you load the csv file one by one in data target which is very tedious task.
Do you have any strategy to load those files ? If yes then we can discuss !

Hey there,
just for a second think of what you are asking here:
- please create the join result of the 4 tables (you say this will deliver 10000000 records) and probably you're right as you just do cross joins (any use case for that or just playing around?)
- take the result set above, read it and insert the first 10000 into a table.
Now, take a wild guess, where your memory (how much do you have btw) will be spend?
You might rethink your join conditions here or go for a larger machine.
Unlike other DBMS SAP HANA will never spill out data to disk in order to process requests that are too large.

while loading the data form DSO to cube it will take long time means it will get error.
why are loading the 1 core records?
you have data year/month wise create the different filters at DTP for month/year.
