Hi Vertika - As i said the only way is to change the type to string.. With the standard xsd validation it definetly fails if the value is blank..

For Proxy you can not trigger the proxy without mand. field. So if you mand. field it will genrate from proxy else it will fail in ECC.
Please check if you are able to trigger any message without mand time stamp.

Um... I have to say that without a great deal of experience this is going to be *Very* hard to pull off. Documentation isn't really going to help. You need an IDM architect /BA to work through the business processes and transform them to technical specifications. From there you're going to have to get a skilled IDM resource to build it.
This is not something you should come at without experience. If you do, its going to go long and will almost certainly not achieve what you want. I really suggest you get someone who's done it before, even if its only to do the design work and provide guidance to technical staff.
I cannot stress enough how much IDM is not just an install. It's converting business process to technical outcomes. Every business is different.

Hi Arihant,
The error you are getting is because you forgot to add the field to the table from the BAPI_WRAPPER that is bringing this data from the SAP backend.
I attach an image with the table you should enhance.
Also, when finishing editing, remember to restart the Agentry Server so the changes take effect in the server.

issue with screen variants for Sales Documents

I have been trying to hide some columns and fields in the sales order, Quotation and Contract using SHD0 but the system request for a Package (see Screenshot attached). What Package is used for transaction VA01, VA21 and VA41 accordingly? I need a full guide on how to hide columns and fields in sales documents.

Importing the server's certificate to the trusted root store, fixed this issue 
. Now I'm able to communicate with SMP3.0, but still not able to connect to Agentry Server.
I was trying to use the following server address as written here (Agentry client Unable to use localhost with Work Manager in SMP 3.0):
https://server:8081/workmanager (workmanager is my application name)
Using this URL I get the communication error (14). Also tried application id instead (https://server:8081/com.sap.mobile.wm)
None of this is working.
Can anyone tell me how I have to enter the server name in the Agentry Client?

This is the easiest way to achieve it.
It is not consistent done in our environment, we have a grown and merged system and even the application teams are distributed among 3 major sites. Since these 3 major sites had earlier their own SAP system, their individual approach often survived. for instance we just renamed the given purchasing groups and used for us, and the same was done for the plant. While the WM team just kept the SAP default and created other warehouses by copy. But honestly nobody working in the production system would and could use the SAP warehouse number to do anything.
they would not do anything because it does not make sense, people know their environment and do not just randomly pick a number from a matchcode. This just happens in anonymous training environments or IDES systems.
And they could not use it, because they would not have the authority for this warehouse in their roles. And similar it would be with any organisation element that can be restricted via authorization.
People are used to see more in the matchcodes than needed, because this is just logical to have more entries if you have more than 600 plants in the system. in such case the 1 or 2 entries from SAP do not even attract attention.

The system uses the flows of actual valuesto transfer data from other module to value fields in CO-PA.
You should understand the flows of actual values through the below sap help portal site to find the G/L mapping against value field.
Flows of Actual Values - Profitability Analysis (COPA) - SAP Library
In case of Billing Documents, Values in billing documents are assigned to condition types in SD, accounts in FI and value fields in CO-PA.
You can use t-code KEAT to reconcile the data between FI and CO-PA.

In case of Direct Postings from FI, all assignments of values and quantities to the value fields in costing-based CO-PA are defined using the PA transfer structure "FI“ through the following IMG path: Profitability Analysis->Flows of Actual Values->Direct Posting from FI/MM->Maintain PA Transfer Structure.
In case of Periodic Overhead Allocation, the cost of cost centers is transferred into co-pa using PA Transfer Structure for Assessmentof co-pa cycles.

@Zubyr : You just need to import the wsdl as external definition and create the service interface as synchronous.
It is like any other interface..

And this sounds logical to me, as if this would not be the case, then you could change data with an IDOC and let it look as if this change was done by someone else.

Sto loc SL01 = 10 units
Cureent stock in Bin A = 10 units and GR has been done of 10 units for the same Bin A.
Putaway TO has been created for 10 units but not yet confirmed.
Now the stock in SL01 = 20 units
Whenever we do goods issue system first checks the stock in storage location.
Due to which system allows to do IM transaction but restrict the user during WM transaction .
Please correct me if am wrong anywhere.

Changing order of month day year on scheduled webi Report
Hi gurus,
As I schedule webi report as pdf and use DateTime placeholder I receive it as "2014-03-02-22-32-44" which is in the format yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss.
My question is if I would be able to see the date format as dd-mm-yyyy-hh-mm-ss
