Hi Martin;
1) make sure that you install the SDK and not the .Net framework.
2) make sure the SDK is in you system path.
3) if you have an AMD processor, you need to download the SDK from AMD & not MS.
4) make sure that you run the PB Classic IDE in "Admin" mode.

I´m currently busy performing a system refresh on windows with SQL server, but when I run the SWPM the sapinst displays this error:
While adding instance ASCS01: A disabled instance exists with the same number and a different name or SAPSID: RDP/SCS01
I have already tried to modify the services file but same. According with some links I should change the /usr/sap/sapservicesfile but this file doesnt exist on my system.
Do you have any idea about what could be happening?

Once completing oracle 12c binary installation , while i am trying to start listener in windows server 2008 , it is throwing me tns 12560 error.
Even while trying to add listener using netca utility , it shows Already listener is in use
Scenario ,
In Windows host already there is a oracle installed for MDG server , now trying to install another oracle 12c for BODS server while creating listener for this server it says listener port already in use , even we tried to give all other ports still no luck.
Really appreciate your inputs to create listener.

Thanks for the reply, i have few questions and i hope you will not mind answering.
1. what if i do not want to use activity, since i am not willing to create stock transfer orders. In my rule for location determination i have three plants, the initial plant in the sales order and then two substitutions in the rule. I have a delay profile of 15 days, and the check horizon is 30 days in the Material master, i also have an incoming receipt which is also been considered for example
1 plant A = 100 stocks, Plant B = 80 Stocks, Plant C= 25 stocks,
2. I have a purchase order at plant A for 100 stocks,
My sales order is created for 325 stocks, it means i have confirmation for 305 stocks from all the plants including the purchase order, but i am having the remaining 20 created as unchecked requirement at the initial plant which should also be confirmed considering the checking horizon, i have the same screen as you have in your previous reply with the difference that i am not using the stock transport or lets say the activity. Can you please elaborate and send some screen shots of your solution. once again thanks for your reply and kind regards.

I have installed the oracle 12c software (only) on windows machine, after that I am trying to install the listner but it is saying listner port is already in use. use some other port. I tried no of ports but still the same result.
We have one more listner is running on the same host ( database installed on D drive- even my database also installed on same drive but oracle home is different )
I have tried all other options setting the enviroment variable, doing net stat what are all the free ports but nothing worked.
Can anyone please help me. This would be apprciated.

I am trying to set Delivery complete indicator on an old STO but when I open it in the edit mode and change and save it, I get the error "Error in net price calculation". When I try to manually enter the price on the STO, the price disappears as soon as I press enter. However, the problem is resolved when I go to the Invoice tab and select "Invoice Receipt" checkbox. Why is that? What has invoice receipt got to do with price calculation on the STO? Thanks.

as of now webi templete is based on the some webi query.like create webi templete on the efashion universe.temple is based on the some source.with this you have to add the webi query in the existing templete and need to delete the query from the the report which is used for the templete.
in the idea it is considered for future enhancement.
CSS custom file is available from BI 4.0.based on the need you can create your own style.

Thank you for your note. I've installed the SCC 3.3 - standalone. I wonder though what I need the SAP CNTL FRAMEWORK for? I remember that there was a plan to have a form of SAP CNTRL FRAMEWORK on top of which the future ASE cockpit will reside (for non-standalone installations). SCC seems like being able to work on its own?
Not sure if I need both.

Ajay You may get some "Future Version Errors" if there is some DDL operation going on after you start sp_iqcheckdb. To avoid this, simply run COMMIT before running sp_iqcheckdb. I would try to issue the COMMIT and try rerunning your sp_iqcheckdb - see if there are any error messages then and check to see if there are any messages in the iqmsg log at the same time. regards John

There are a few ways you can do to speed up the performance when running sp_iqcheckdb 1. Increase temp cache . 2 .You can improve the sp_iqcheckdb time by allocating more resources to that operation (if such resources are available). resource-percent The input parameter resource-percent must be an integer greater than zero. The resources percentage allows you to limit the CPU utilization of the database consistency checker by controlling the number of threads with respect to the number of CPUs. If resource-percent = 100 (the default value), then one thread is created per CPU. If resource-percent > 100, then there are more threads than CPUs, which might increase performance for some machine configurations. The minimum number of threads is one. 3. free up resources by lowering down -gm setting. 4. Depending on physical RAM on your box, you can also set dbcc_pinnable_cache_percent option to higher than default 50, , this option controls the percent of the cache used by the sp_iqcheckdb. If I understand your question correctly, I can see two options:
1. Create a DI View and rename the columns and descriptions as you want. Then bind the rules to the DI view rather than the raw table. You could do the same with a DB object (view, Mat View) however a DI view has less moving parts.
2. Build a custom report that links the failed rules database and either manually change each column or link to integrator details in Metadata Management and use that to display the names.
You could also raise an idea on the ideas space, however I'm not sure when it might be addressed by SAP.
