Right, the old/new columns in the audit table are for db parameter changes not for table data. That one slipped my memory...
If you really want to cover a data change log on table level, I still would go with the approach of generating trigger code that is not dynamic.
The less logic you put into the trigger, the better and the less the impact to your insert/update performance.

Table T882- Currency Type fields are not updated
Dear Experts
I am facing an issue while creating 3 new company codes (BR10, TW10, IN10) (on top of 5 company codes created long time ago).
I've already done my configuration in "Define Currencies of Leading Ledger". The 3 new co.codes are supposed to have 10- Local Currency and 30- Group Currency.
However, when I checked Table T882 (Company code/ Ledger Assignment). The field for "LC currency Type" and "GC currency type" were blank, instead of having the value 10 and 30 there.
Why is it like this? Did I miss out any configuration? Thank you.

When we create a plan-level then we select the root attributes to basically provide the create the combination and te other non-root attributes values may or may not be present while uploading the values.
So in you case as well it is a s good as saying the that the combination just exist at product level
