Absolutely not clear "from 2012.06 and so on" So on?
If you have some code that have to be executed for one month and repeated for number of months - then you have one option - *FOR/*NEXT (but FOR/NEXT will replicate code text anyway).

The 'right truncation of string data' generally means that you are loading data into IQ that is wider than the column type (for any reason). For instance, if you have a char(10) field and load 11 or more characters into it, you will see the error. In previous versions we silently truncated the data. There is an option called String_Rtruncation that can be set from the default of ON (throw an error) to OFF.
Personally, I prefer to use the hex values for carriage return and line feed just as you have. You could also drop in \r\n if needed. But like I said, the hex values leave no room for error as they are quite specific.
Glad you got it working!

1542287 - How to display correct Arabic Text when exported to PDF from Crystal Reports?
Hi,
I'm constantly getting Jive notifications to my iPhone. And then when I swipe on one, it opens the correct discussion or blog, as it should. But, there is no response to that discussion/blog on the web.
Any ideas why this is happening? It's a new thing, in the last week.

Well this is curious... when I added the , at the end, it did load my data. And when I loaded 12 files concurrently, it loaded remarkably quickly - 2m30s for 1.4bn rows. Very nice.
But now with this new syntax, I don't see the 1200% on process iqsrv16 that I saw before (which is I'm guessing 12 concurrent load threads). Instead, I see one java process (for the loader?) with 14% CPU utilization.
10 minutes later... nothing much has happened. Any ideas what I have done wrong?

Hi Trinetra,

May i know what exactly you are trying to achieve??
You can right click on the Cell -> Format Cell -> General -> Display -> Read Cell Content as HTML
Then you can just put drag any Variable into the cell and it should work without any issues
="<HTML><Marquee>"+[VARIABLE]) +"</MARQUEE></html>"
Helo. I would like to get a report with outstanding balances for balance sheet accounts, this is account analysis. Thanks.
Hi All,
What auth object permission is required to view cube's data?
We recently found out that we from Analysis are not able to select cubes for data display, only BEx reports are available. We can very well select Cubes, infosets , multiproviders etc in out Quality/ testing environment. Seems like there are some difference in the authorizations in testing and Prod environment. Not sure what authorization object is required for the same.
Please let me know if there any specific auth object (like S_RS_*) that needed to be included in roles.
Thanks,
Debjit

Update: After playing around a bit, I decided to start from scratch on the dynamic image issue, and I created a new report and tried just a basic SQL command that would grab the image based on who was logged in, and it worked. So then I tried to copy over the SQL command of the report that was created in the previous version of crystal reports into a new report and resetup the rest of the report and the dynamic image worked as well. Finally, I created a new report from importing that report in so that it would setup everything automatically and the dynamic imaging worked that time as well. The only thing I can conclude is that the old reports did not update correctly/wouldn't work correctly under the new crystal reports version (even though it stated something about updating the report when I first opened it up or first saved it).
My only issue now is the CR viewer's toolbar and why it is being cut off, as shown by the image in my previous post. Again thanks for the help and any thoughts?
Hello S&OP Community
More a question to clarify: the strength of S&OP is
that any calculations are done on the fly. I wanted to clarify if I can use a calculated
key figure in an analytic or only stored key figures?
For example I have a key figure C, which is a calculated key
figure as the sum of A plus B. The value for C as such is not stored in the
HANA data base. Can I display this key figure in the analytic or not?
Thank you,
Jens
I will suggest to go through the document below and check if you are missing anything..

Hi Mohammad,
Please check the following note:
Symptom
The HTTP protocol of the managed system's ICM is configured with value 0 to do not allow inbound connections. Then, during the Managed System Configuration the Load Balancer port has been configured with value 0 in the step Enter System Parameters. Finally, the step Check Configuration fails with error:
A technical error stopped the check configuration execution: Error No Load Balancing data provided for <XXX> |
The following picture describes the error:
Environment
Reproducing the Issue
Cause
The Solution Manager system needs the Load Balancing or ICM host and port to generate the jump-in URLs for the diagnostics applications. If no port or port 0 (zero) are provided in the step Enter System Parameters the application cannot test the URL, then the error is thrown.
Resolution
If the ICM is indeed configured to do not allow inbound connections, there is no workaround for this error. In this case, the jump-in URLs to the managed system will not work because it is not allowed to receive connections over the ICM.
To solve this issue, it is required to allow inbound connections through the ICM and provide the correct port in the step Enter System Parameters of the Managed System Configuration.

Hi Vladislav,
Yes, both TNSNAMES.ora have to be the same.
Also verify your the following windows environment variables on your BOBJ server:
PATH & ORACLE_HOME: Oracle Installation path
Restart the machine and try again.

Hi,
In our Production system (which keeps the WEBGUI sessions alive) the parameters are:
~WEBGUI 1
~THEME sl
In our Upgraded systems (where the sessions are killed off) the parameters are:
~WEBGUI 1
~THEME sap_tradeshow_plus
~XSRFCHECK 1
It's challenging (for me!) to find any doco on these parameters...
Could it be the XSRFCHECK? We turned it off but it had no effect.
(As a bonus question, what do you need to do to properly test parameter changes?
Deactivate & restart the service?)
thanks!
Paul
Hi Kevin,
It's because the results of any SELECT statements are actually saved inside the compiled lgx file.
This makes the code run faster, but it could be out of sync with master data changes...
In particular this statement from your file is the cause:
*SELECT(%ELIM_ACCS%, "[ID]", "ACCOUNTDIM","[ELIMACC] <>''")
When you re-validate the script logic, the .lgf gets recompiled into .lgx
I don't immediately recall a way around this behavior or any improvements from SAP, but will check around if this validation step can be avoided or not.
