Re: Shipment cost was transfer but entry sheet not updating back to cost document

Hi,

   It seems the entry sheet is not created for the shipment cost item. In your screen shot, VI02 shows net value 8 K, but there is no entry sheet with value as 8K in the PO history! I think the entry sheets showing in the PO history are related to any other shipment cost document. You may check the reference document for the entry sheets in the PO history and find the entry sheet.

   In addition, go to VI02, flag the transfer check box in the shipment cost item and save it. It will create the entry sheet and the history will be updated in the PO as well as the shipment cost document. Check the same and revert back.

Hi,

   The functionality is available in Transportation Management with Multi-Dimensional condition type. Refer the doc: Transportation Management: Freight with minimum value based on weight. You may follow the same and configure a multi dimensional freight condition in TM and use it as a reference condition in the MM condition type. You may check the same and revert back.

Hi,

   Create a new line item in the PO and check whether the confirmation control key is getting updated in the PO item automatically. Also, you may create a new PO and check.

   For the existing PO item, you may manually add the confirmation control key in the PO - item - confirmations tab and save. Check the same again in ME22N.

Hi,

   The pricing procedure is determined at the time of creation of PO. Adding a new line item or update pricing wont redetermine the pricing procedure.

   If you want new procedure to be determined, you may create a new PO and proceed.

   If the issue is with tax code, you may select the correct tax code and proceed. If VAT is a condition type in the new MM pricing procedure, you need to create a new PO.

Script is ok. but when I run the job,

 

Getting below error.....

I tried with single quotes and double quotes.

regarding:

With above understanding what I assume is, SAP is trying to move all EHS functionalities to new EHSM module.


This will not happen. The core EHS part will stay in EHS (according to my expectation). But you are right: the trend is quite clear: anything new will be build up in Component Extension. Software which is still out there might be moved as well to Component Extension. (e.g.  may be REACh Compliance Suite). But there is no official roadmap available. Only if you participate in Ramp Up you will get a clue about new functionality in Component Extension.

Therefore:

1.Having experience and learning upcoming modules of SAP EHSM are not enough for me to be a competent EHSM consultant? or do I need to focus on classic EHS also.

=> depends on your future job options:  My assumption would be that you need 60% - 80% EHS Classic Know How  and 20 - 40 Component Extension Know how Then you really have a broad knowledge skill.


Reasons for EHS classic. any legal change has to be reflected in EHS classic as  most of the companies do use EHS classic (e.g. GHS, REACH). This is the "core" application. Remember: with EnPack 7 a "retrofit"/"enhancement" of GLM took place. So SAP is investing as well money here.


2. What are modules or functionalities which were part of EHS classic and are available in EHSM (CE)


As you have mentioned by yourself: Risk/INcident/Accident handling (EHS IH) is classic solution. This has been moved to component extension. But Component Extension is getting additional solutions of other SAP solutions; especially wich Component Extension 6.0) which haven't been developped in EHS classic

Here you will find the current/recent statement of SAP (Mary Kilgo) about EHS classic and Component Extension and the potential future roadmap.


Conclusion: currently I would assume that there are many projects running in many companies to use "Component Extension" (either first try or to do upgrade). But as mentioned by yourself: the job market for EHS classic is still interesting.


For both topics: in most cases the project life time is between 6 - max 18 month. So you need to be very flexible. There might be a project EHS classic, the Ccomponet Extension, then Classic etc. etc.

Hi Istvan,

 

I opened the Downloads link and tried to install service packs for Crystal Reports 2011. I started from the latest Service Pack – SP11. 

 

When I run a downloaded file, Win-RAR Self-extracting archive threw an error:

  • - “Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation”.
  • - “CRC failed in [every time different file]. Unexpected end of archive”.

It happened with all service packs from SAP Crystal Reports 2011 SP11 down to SP7.

Crystal Reports was closed the whole time.

Only SP5 archive extracted OK.

 

However, SP5 installer throws another error:

A reboot request is suppressed on the local machine. Please reboot the machine in order to proceed with the installation. INS00289

I found a page http://solveissue.com/note?id=1880774 and followed instructions. Multiple reboots did not help, deleting of registry key did not make a difference either.

 

So service pack installation is a stubborn issue on its own…

 

Are there any other ideas what may cause a problem described in the original post?

I may have a solution for you on the report name.

 

My load was from c:\test\<report file name>.

 

I believe the MAX_PATH for file names is 260 chars. Now, when the report engine loads the report, it actually makes a temp copy that has a guid attached to it. So if your path was something like

c:\test\my folder\another folder\one more folder\... the load path may have exceeded the allowed path length. To test, copy the report to something like c:\test and see if that loads. It should. Like I said, mine loaded with the name I specified in my post from July 17

The file may be getting corrupted when you attach it to the email. What method are you using to send the email? For eg. this error happens frequently in SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 if you haven't specified the start & end positions correctly.

Hi Deva,

 

Yes, you can set them with bypass(you can directly read the user assignments from the ABAP system and set them in IdM with BYPASS), so you won''trigger the provisioning to the back-end system. Then when the privileges are assigned in IdM you can trigger de-provisioning and the roles will be remove from IdM&ABAP.

Error in theme designed(/n/UI5/THEME_DESIGNER)

Hi, I am trying to create a new theme using tcode /UI5/THEME_DESIGNER.

I am able to access the web page where we can create new theme.

After i enter link to my UI5 application, it gives me below error, can you please suggest what could be the reason.

DB2 license (does not have a valid license key installed)

Hello,

 

I´m facing a weird situation in our SAP system with DB2 database. Some weeks ago the SAP system was running without problems. Today when I restart the SAP system the DB2 service doesn´t start well... in event viewer I see the following error:

Functions specific to this product are not enabled. If you have licensed this product, ensure the license key is properly installed. You can install the license using the db2licm command. The license file can be obtained from your licensed product CD.

 

 

The SAP has a valid license!

 

Can you tell me please where I can find the DB2 license and how can I install it...?

Hi Balu,

You need to implement ECC BADI(s) /SAPSLL/CTRL_MM0A_R3 or /SAPSLL/CTRL_MM0B_R3 or /SAPSLL/CTRL_MM0C_R3 depending what exaclty is being done. Clear the values in cs_control as required.

Personas 1.0 SP04 only switch flavor by flavor name, but it was changed to switch flavor by flavor id in SP05. For backward compatibility reasons if you had flavor created in SP04 with name then it still works in SP05 but not the other way round.

 

So if you have SP05 on dev then you need to use same version on prod.

799639 - IDES - General Information about the usage of IDES systems

 

 

 

Support Packages / Upgrade / EHPs

 

 

IDES specific Support Packages do not exist.

 

 

Patching and Upgrade of IDES systems are no longer supported. IDES should only be operated as a seperate installation. Each new release requires a new installation!

 

 

Due to the complexity of the IDES systems and the number of preinstalled components/AddOns it is not possible any more to generate a consistant maintenance (MOPZ) within the Solution Manager. Because of this technical restriction we recommend to wait for coming IDES versions/releases.

Hi Vishal,

 

UJBR is backup/restore tool - has to save and restore everything if settings of the backup includes everything. You can open backup zip file and check for the workbooks in question!

Transport Error: Source System does not exist

Dear Experts,

 

      In our project, we create BW data model (for Simple Finance) in ECC development system, which is DEV210. Now we are transporting to QAS system, which have multiple clients (QAS310 for SIT, QAS320 for UAT).

 

      1) How can we maintain the source system mapping in this case to map datasource and transformation from DEV210 to both QAS310, QAS320 at the same time (That means when we run report on QAS310 it pulls data from QAS 310. When we run report on QAS 320 it pulls data from QAS 320 respectively)?

 

     (Otherwise, we have to maintain the mapping to QAS310 and then transport request? After finishing SIT, then we have to change the mapping to QAS320 and then retransport again for UAT?)

 

      2) Now we just tried mapping DEV210 to QAS310 only and transport the requests. However, we found the error message "Transport Error: Source Sytem DEV210 does not exit"

      

          Table :  RSLOGSYSMAP

          Original Source System  = DEV210

          Target Source System = QAS310

         

          Based on my check, in RSA1, we have only source system QAS300 created. Do we need to create a source sytem QAS310 manually in our QAS system first?
