Minimal settings for RFC connection from PI
Dear all,
In case we need to connect to an ERP system by using RFC calls, what would be the minimal setup to achieve this for an RFC receiver scenario?
Is an RFC destination required on PI or can we just create a Business component (not a Business system) and put the ABAP server details into the receiver channel?
If we require an RFC destination, is there an API to create these or can it only be done manually in NWA on a single stack PO?

with fiori design methodology, those complex transactions will be made simpler by applying principles of composition/decomposition to transactions etc. for more details you can go through openSAP course Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud -

There seem be a typo in the ErrorMessagesPath setting in your simba.hiveodbc.ini file. It seems to be pointing at /ODBC_Drviers/simba/hiveodbc/ErrorMessages but should it be /ODBC_Drivers/simba/hiveodbc/ErrorMessages instead (you are missing an "i" in ODBC_Drviers)?
Based on the error message you are currently getting:
The error message HardyHiveError could not be found in the en-US locale. Check that /ODBC_Drviers/simba/hiveodbc/ErrorMessages//en-US/SimbaHiveODBCMessages.xml exists.
The driver is trying to display an error message of type HardyHiveError. The driver usually returns this type of error when there is an issue trying to establish a connection to Hive or Hive is returning error or an operation.
Hopefully after getting the ErrorMessagesPath setting in your simba.hiveodbc.ini file straighten out you will get more informative error message to show what the actual problem is.

Normally in OO ABAP, the garbage collector works automatically and unallocates the memory when the objects are no longer in scope. Are you facing any performance issues with the program ?
I see that these are standard SAP classes and hence there should be no need to free the memory.

I do have a quite similar problem, which fits to this:
I have initiated a sales proces meaning:
- Creation of sales order
- Creation of Delivery
- Creation of Transfer Order in WM
- Goods Issue
- Accounting Documents automatically created
I would like to copy a header text from the delivery (or sales order if possible) to the header texts of the acccounting document in transaction FB03. This should be field BKPF-BKTXT.
I am struggling a bit to realize this. Therefore my questions:
1) Is it possible to do this in general using VOTXN for copy control?
2) Which steps would I have to follow or is there a tutorial for VOTXN?
