What is gross and net in the perf. report?

I did a trace by using ST12 and below is the report, pls. let us know

 

1) Actually, we want to know which step / program / piece of code / syntax / module is taking long time so pls. let us know which column we need to focus among Gross, Net, Gross (%), Net (%), in other words which column tells the time consumption?

 

2) What is here Gross, Net, Gross (%), Net (%)

 

3) What is the ' = ' here bcz for some records I saw ' = ' value

In the below report, I guess, the DURATION / 2nd column will tell us that each ABAP code line time consumption, am I right? So, which ever record  have more value in the DURATION column means that row's ABAP code is taking long time, right?

Hi Gurus,

 

 

can any one please help with the steps for IDM 7.2 installation.we have O/S RHlinux and DB Oracle 11.2

 

 

I have the following details with me (after going through the installation guides)

 

 

I have already completed the installation of NW java stack (NW 7.4 standalone)required for the installation.

 

 

form a standalone installation the installation guide provides the following steps:

 

 

1. Install the database system.(Is this the Database syatem required for the NetWeaver AS Java?) if yes we have installed the database while installing java stack is that fine?

 

 

we did not use scripts mentioned in the database installation guide for IDM 7.2

 

 

2. Install the Identity Center database schema.(after installing the database syatem do we need to create a separate schema specific to IDM ? how can we do that?)

 

 

3. Install the Java Runtime Environment.(What are these variables?) we have java version "1.6.0_34" ,OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.13.6) (rhel-1.13.6.1.el6_6-x86_64)

 

 

4. Install the database client.(Is this the same DB client installation that is required while installing Netweaver java ?)

 

 

5. Install the JDBC drivers.

 

 

6. Install the Management Console.

 

 

7. Install the Runtime Components.

 

 

8. Install and configure SAP NetWeaver AS Java. (we have completed the installation of Netweaver java 7.4)

 

 

9. Install the Identity Management User Interface.

 

 

10. Post-installation: Configure the Java Runtime Environment.

 

 

11. Post-installation: Add the JDBC drivers to the CLASSPATH extension.

went through the guide to understand the following steps,but bit confused about the sequence and process to be followed,please share some idea on how can we perform steps 5,6,9,10 and 11.

Hi Philip,

 

It is possible that the background.mode doesn't match the result of the expression.

 

If the column background colour is set to transparent the background.mode="1"

 

Solution could be to set the background colour to a real colour in the editor. That will save as background.mode="2" and your expression is likely to work.

Molga 08 is indead for Great Britain - not just England. So, Scottish legislation is included there by SAP.

Scottland does have some specialities, but you have to see this like Ontario vs Nova Scotia. Not like France vs Italy.

Whether this can stay so with the further devolution of powers from British to Scottish parliament, remains to be seen.

 

Are there any specific Scottish regulations you are missing?

Hi Vishwanatha,

 

As already mentioned, a case insensitive search is generally achieved by storing data in two different fields in the table - once in its actual case and next time in all uppercase. When such field is used for searching, the search criteria is also converted into all uppercase, and then it is used to search from the field in which data was stored in all uppercase.

 

So you need to implement something similar for your new field, if the search needs to be case insensitive.

That's because two real numbers that are a bit different might display exactly the same. So you may think they are equal, but in fact internally they are not. All depends on the precision.used and this is not a DS feature but common to all software products.

As said before, you are not comparing reals but character strings. So that behavior does not apply to your data flow. By casting to a decimal you are removing extraneous blanks.

Hello Nicola,

"Assertion failed" errors come out when configurations are different from what they should be. According to Note 1977393the setup of Oracle RAC is now integrated in SWPM, probably in your scenario some steps were done manually.

 

The best option is to follow Note 1977393 and the installation guide, there are specific sections for Oracle ASM. To make an example, oracle user is created by SWPM.

Hi,

 

Sales or Expenditure G/L accounts are used for Profit / Loss statement. As long as they are not directly affecting Balance Sheet, you need to set those accounts to this type.

Which BADI is not getting triggered ?


If you use ESS(Portal) for modifying any infotype record, then Enhancement Spot HRPAD00INFTYBL (go to t-code SE18) its same like BADI can be used. You will find two BADIs definitions HRPAD00INFTYBL and HRPAD00INFTYDB for updating records. THERE IS A FILTER. MAKE sure you add infotype 0009 as filter in enhancement implementation. Refer to thread below.


PA30 -Bank Infotype -Changing Warning Message to Error Message

 

To activate implementation there will be a check box that you need to check. There is an example class CL_EXM_IM_HRPAD00INFTYBL is given this will help you about writing code. All current data comes in PNNN structure. This gets trigger for each records.


I suggest put break point and then debug for your understanding.


Also suggest you to implement then HRPAD00INFTY and

 

Alternatively you can implement SMOD exit PBAS0001 -> Function Module EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 and check if it iss called during update.

Hi Varun,

 

Please open the table "select * from [@CTX_CONF]" and  delete the single configuration record and connect the addon once again. This will rerun the addon DB script and make a required UDF which seems to be missing in your installation.

 

This issue is already fixed in the later patches  but you have to wait for SBO 9.1 Pl06 for the upgrade.
