The best to create a BASE LINE install is using Symantec Ghost Imaging, The BI 4.1 is an Application install and it is depend on the name of the server. As long the server name would stay the same you can Symantec Ghost Imaging software as your base.
Also such feature should be available using VMWare software as well.

Delegate methods not called on POST request if network connectivity breaks in SMP 3.0 Odata iOS Native app
Hi all,
I'm building an OData service app using SMP 3.0 SP 04 OData Native sdk for iOS. I've used Cache to enable offline in my application. Application is working fine when making GET request and also works fine on POST request as well. But in case network connectivity breaks while POST request had been sent, then no delegate methods are getting called i.e., according to docs didFailSelector should get called when request fails while making asynchronous request. In case of GET asynchronous request its working fine but in case of POST request in aforesaid scenario neither of the delegate methods are getting called.

I understand the workaround in the SDK but what does this mean when you populate the Excel?
Do we have to populate everything in the same row to make this work as everything is in the Root node?
I just cannot make work an Excel with several rows even if I have Mass Processing checked.
If I put several rows (several expense reports), none is created. If I put two rows with the same Expense report but two items, nothing is created either.
I just cannot find how to make this Excel works. And this is the tricky part as this Excel will be populated by business users, so it has to be easy and straightforward.

If you are running the application of DS server on the machine , will certainly have this problem even because of permissions OS .
You can install the application on your machine probably will not have this problem .
You can save this file in a directory on the network to escape the permissions.
Step by Step:
1- Create a Script and connect with the Data Flow.
2- Declare the variables and direct the file location for export.
3- Schema Out, the Format tab set the variable export destination .

Are these users, who are facing issue with password change from portal, able to change the password while logging to ABAP system directly?
From the logs posted by you I understand that SSO is configured for this system , please confirm if my understanding is correct?

Also, please check if the initial password for these users has expired in the back-end system?

Hi Lokesh,
The main principle of derived roles is that they inherit all object level access from the parent with the exception of organisational levels.
Using derived roles you cannot achieve your requirement. If there are any object level differences in the derived roles then you will need to create different master roles or delete the inheritance relationship. This is a design constraint when using derived roles and if you do use them (some would advise against) then it has to take this functionality into account.
You can promote most field values to org levels which will not be overwritten but you need to be very careful that it doesn't cause problems elsewhere (e.g. promoting auth group to an org level). I respectfully suggest that you do not go down this route without consulting someone who has done it before and can evaluate your solution for it's suitability.

2 - create a detail variable ([participatory fund detail) )whith associated dimension equals the merged year and with value Query3.[participatory fund].
3 - Change your formula to
If ( [Fund]=[participatory fund detail)) Then "Yes" Else "No".

As far as I understood you have a complex logic of selecting the right set of approvers, therefore you go for a Z-table to map those user ids based on a certain criteria. That is a fair comment, because you want to avoid a person creating AR to select "wrong" approvers.
So, you ABAP enhancement will work when AR master data is saved and will populate a list of Approvers.
But that does not mean you need a non-standard workflow. Approvers are just the entry parameters for a workflow. Your workflow consultant only needs to introduce a comments box, that is forwarded to the next level.

I would try applying the MKPF and MSEG joins using an ABAP Dataflow in ECC itself. You will still be dealing with huge volumes of data. You can look at the following thread which specifically mentions a SAP note relevant to your scenario.

Is there a recommendation, when running the tool for the first time, about whether to run it manually in each environment (DEV, QAS, PRD) once before using transports from DEV in subsequent runs? I'm wondering if there is any advantage in doing so, since the first productive run makes quite a few changes (i.e., the migration from BTXTAXC to T5UTZC). Or will those first-run changes be correctly captured in the transport?
