If dump information gives you any particular msg no or other information try to use a watch point on those values.

 

or if this is still in ur dev system then add a try catch block and put a breakpoint in catch block

What version of CR and CR SP are you using?

What OS is this failing on?

Is a default printer driver installed and if so, what is it?

 

In a nutshell this is obviously an environment issue. E.g.;  what is the difference between a computer that works and one that does not?

Like Matt confirmed, there is no need to uninstall the dialog instances during an SP update for an ABAP stack. If you are using SUM to patch the system and if you are making use of the shadow system option then the AS can be up and running until the downtime phase. Before you start the downtime phase SUM will prompt you to isolate the CI and to stop all AS's.

If you are using SUM there is an option called update "Dialog Instances" but as you are doing an SP update this option wont be necessary. If you are patching the system using the SPAM/SAINT method then you may keep the AS's up and running.

Hi Hynek, thanks for reply.

 

Unfortunatelly, do not have access to SM37 to check if FM is triggering dialog.

Will try to ask our administrators to check it. But very strange if FM is alredy contain dialogs preventing function but issue is still appearing.

Are there any workarounds assuming SM37 is also returning dialogs?

We have the same issue periodically. Typically the user restarts the computer but also ending processes in task manager helps. I have a feeling that SAP needs time to catch up to itself..or processes to close properly. 8-)

 

Worse comes to worse - I reboot the server but that is only if there is a serious issue and all users are impacted.

 

Javier mentioned that in older versions (like ours) it is possible to connect to the same company twice using the same user name. However, if the user ends up in the same files, B1 will generate an error.

I am getting error while uploading Intial Stock in EWM via Txn code /SCWM/ISU.

 

below is the error " Prodcut XX does not exist " You can see the Product Warehouse data is maintained.

Never simulated this in past. Please simulate and see whether system is creating TR without activating the WM-PP interface ???

 

Theoretically i don't think you will get any TR as if you are not activating WM-PP then for TR creation system won't get movement type which is a basic requirement to create TR

Gostaria de ajuda , estou tentando excluir as linhas da importação do extrato externo, mais ocorre o erro conforme o print de tela, o que devo fazer, estás linhas não foram reconciliadas, pois não aparece o código da reconciliação.

Are you archiving the output?  I think "Display original" is available if you are archiving the output along with print.  We do use "Print and Archive" option for output and output PDF is archived in content server.

Have you reviewed the BPL process of TDMS to see if that will work for your scenarios?

They have a lot of various things by default and I believe you can modify some to fit your requirements.

 

The PEM portion that I was referring to is an automated (until it errors) method of running through TDMS packages to avoid having to click down the list of actions and making the overall process take longer than needed.

Hello Willi,

 

I agree with that and I for myself already do that. One has to add that Fiori is developed with Javascript instead of ABAP and C4C with ABAP-Script. Concerning the demand for C4C I am not yet sure if it is already that big but cloud will definitely be a technology of the future.
