Hi All,
I am a fresher to SAP BO.
Pelase let me ask some doubts.
For auditing
I configured a System DSN 'BusinessObjects Audit Server 140' in my server. Gave the correct admin credentials.(boeuser and password)
Changed the CMC>Auditing
In ADS Database
Conn Name: BusinessObjects Audit Server 140
Type:MS SQL
Gave user name and password, given while creating System DSN.
Added
<Aliases>
<Alias>MS SQL Server</Alias>
</Aliases>
after the line
<DataBase Active="Yes" Name="MS SQL Server 2008">
in <Install_Dir>\dataAccess\connectionServer\odbc\sqlsrv.sbo.
In CMC>Applications>Monitoring
Enable Monitoring Application check box is checked.
I took the back up of my Derby DB and exported data from embedded db as CSV files.
Changed trending db to audit universe. Restarted SIA.
Went to Server.Opened SQL Server Management Studio. Gave the boeuser and password to connect to server.
server type:database engine
server name: servername\BOE140
There I can see three databases System databases, BOE140, BOE140_Audit.
30 tables in BOE140 and 19 in BOE140_Audit.
In BOE140_Audit, I get data only up to 29.05.2013. But in BOE140 the data is updating correctly.
The tables in BOE140_Audit are
I have not created the tables as said in C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data\TrendingDB\mssql.sql
As BOE140 provides the correct data, what is the need of BOE140_Audit?
I need to know the data like number of hits by user etc.
Please help me..
Thanks & Regards
Sandeep
