Is it able to open existing universe. If so, could you see if the test connection is working or not.
You could enable universe designer trace through bobj classic tracing methodology( through BO_trace.ini)
Thanks

Hi there,
Thanks for the link.
I did manage to take a look at this previously, but it is marked as "for stand alone installation only".
Has anyone gotten this working in the real world? ie: is it unofficially supported to use Windows 7 as the server OS for Sap B1?
Thanks!
I have same issue. Anyone resolve?
Faisal:
the answer will still be 100 as you have not introduced any additional new users and users have not changed to locked/expired.
Hello,
If we summarize the dbcc check we can important objects (e.g. sys.sysobjvalues, REPOLOAD):
CHECKDB found 32 allocation errors and 28 consistency errors not associated with any single object.
CHECKDB found 1 allocation errors and 0 consistency errors in table 'sys.sysobjvalues' (object ID 60).
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and 2 consistency errors in table 'g10.COV_GENDATA' (object ID 201155862).
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and 4 consistency errors in table 'g10.sap_stmt_workload' (object ID 661030282).
CHECKDB found 0 allocation errors and 2 consistency errors in table 'g10.sap_stmt_plan' (object ID 789030738).

CHECKDB found 61 allocation errors and 295 consistency errors in database 'G10'.
repair_allow_data_loss is the minimum repair level for the errors found by DBCC CHECKDB (G10).
The safest solution would be to restore your backups in another server (different disks, memory, ...) and check if your backups did not contain those corruptions.
As mentioned in note 142731:
Investigation of causes
Theoretically, every component of a database server, either software (SW) or hardware (HW), can cause a corruption. In practice, however, a corruption can almost always be traced back to hardware or driver problems. A defect in any HW component can cause corruption. For example, disks, RAID controllers, RAM, CPU and even defective fans can cause malfunctions due to overheating.

Hi Ian,
I've asked my colleagues from the Development Team to get in touch with you.
They are located In Europe so you will get an answer from them tomorrow.

Hannes
But it is a good practice to always load master data first, run attribute change run and then text load.

Hello Guru's, I have created UI5 iview by copying the Web Dynpro Application com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap - UI5 and pasted in to the folder where I am creating the iview. with in the content SAP UI5 gave the relative path as :/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html? And in the Navigation Menu- selected the option: Display in separate headerless portal window (standard mode) Now when trying to Preview or open the role it is not rendering(both in IE and Chrome) the Launchpad. It is displaying a blank screen. And we are the latest version available in the market on the patches and all the fiori related components. Please help. Thanks, Pramod
Hi,
Recently upgrade to 3.1 SP.
I'm importing a list of users with group membership. This is something we've done in the past successfully.
I've got rows like this...
"Group Name","User ID","Full Name","email@address.com"
My last import of users created duplicate accounts. I can create a test import file and repeatedly create duplicate accounts with the exact same account name but different ids.
This is causing me a big problem
Can anyone give advice?
Thanks,
Sam
Hi,
We are upgrading portal from 7.01 to 7.31. I am working on custom login module.
I am using NameCallBack, PasswordCallback and httpcallback (prior to upgrade used webCallback which is deprecated in 7.31)
All these three callbacks works fine in our sandbox which uses Portal Database as UME, But same code fails and returns NULL for callbacks in Dev system where we use Active Directory.
//In initialize(Subject subject, CallbackHandler callbackHandler, Map sharedState, Map options)
super.initialize(subject, callbackHandler, sharedState, options);
this.callbackHandler = callbackHandler;
// in logion()
NameCallback nameCallback = new NameCallback("User name: ");
PasswordCallback passwordCallback = new PasswordCallback("Password: ", true);
try
{
callbackHandler.handle(new Callback[] { nameCallback, passwordCallback });
}
Any ideas will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dileep
Hi Karai,
Couple of things I will point out here. Try them and lets see where we stand.
1. The configuration:
a. Liability Categories are defined.
b. Credit Control Area is assigned to all the company codes.
c. Sales Area assigned to Credit Control Area
d. Both of these BADIs are activated: UKM_R3_ACTIVATE and BADI_SD_CM.
e. The following web services are activated
2. Check if queue is not stuck. t-code SMQ1 and queue: UKM_DOCUMENT_PROCESS. If stuck please get it cleared.
3. To rebuild the credit exposure do following:
a. Use UKM_COMMITMENTS to clear all the exposure.
b. Execute UKM_RFDKLI20_AR and UKM_RFDKLI20
c. Execute UKM_TRANSFER_ITEM
d. Execute UKM_RVKRED07. Make sure nothing is processing at that time as it will put lock on all Sales related tables.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Prateek.
Yagyesh,
You cannot delete a production model - but you can enter a "Valid To" date to ensure it's not being used.

What will happen if we delete tRFCs from SM58 what are the possible errors?How it impacts the bussiness?
Dear Anuja:
I think is better to check the FI JOB and solve the problem by root cause.
Becuase if the sales order is already fully invoiced the normal behavior is not allowed to change the price on it.

OK, but also the case that if the year is 2100, for example neither accepts BW, and another concern is that as in the PSA not only 0calday but 0calmonth, 0calyaer 0calweek and then apply it touches each of infobjetos time? as would be the solution?
Thank you.
Hello Uday,
I hope the inspection lots are in process inspection type 03 related which are created once your release the order so unless you change the order status to created status it wont let you to close the inspection lot.
